Adhik Maas

Religion helps to condition our mortal bodies (physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies) to manifest spiritual attributes.

Adhik Maas is the extra month in the Hindu calendar which bridges the gap between lunar and solar months. During this period, Hindus worship  Lord Vishnu, hence the term Purshottam Maas. Purshottam refers to “The Perfect Man.”

Perfection is achieved by prayer, penance and cleansing. In other words, a month devoted to self development, self introspection and inner purification. Penance, fasting, meditation and recitation of religious verses and books, donation and tithing are embraced.

Inner purification in simplified terms mean following the virtues to the core which lead to detoxification of our mortal bodies.Virtues of being honest, generous, kind  and loving, non injurious in thought, speech and deeds.

This is a period of rediscovery of our true self, the divinity within us all.

What you Give, You Get…That is the Divine Law..

Best wishes to all my spiritual buddies…..Explore and discover your True Self.!!!

Thought Power

With every passing second comes a new thought. Natural as they may seem, they have a tremendous effect. These thoughts are alive, just like you and me.. They have their own will and live in the cosmos for an indefinite time, for thoughts are not figments of our imagination.

Thoughts are elementals. When put into action they become thought forms that can be devastating. Although a willful thought lingers indefinitely, a thought created by a wavering mind may dissipate quickly. It can still create havoc in a person’s life. A thought elemental created by an earnest wish, for oneself or others, will hover in the aura for a few days.

Similarly, when a person / persons gossips or criticizes, bitterness and hatred toward oneself or others, he/she creates a living entity which either surrounds or resides in the aura of the person concerned and may remain there forever. Hence, Gossip and criticism are the deadliest of all sins. We knowingly create such thoughts, good and bad, which can be injurious.

Despite our limited knowledge  regarding the subject, it is not difficult to come to an inference that these, so called, mere thoughts affect the physical, mental, social and spiritual well being of the individual who owns it, of the individual who is thought about and of those around them.

So, it is our ultimate test to avoid this deadly indulgence for the well being of ourselves as well as others and to curb the generation of negative elements. It is indeed difficult for us, we who are conscious of our mortal, bodily nature to conceive that the potentiality of the infinite splendor exists within us..

Being able to stand amidst the darkness and constantly reminding ourselves that “ We are the sparkle of Light “ is our final test...

To conclude, think carefully, think positively. Your positive thoughts and attitude may fill someone’s life with love, happiness and success............

What Lies Beyond The Physical Plane

A snake sheds it covering  just as a human being, over a period of time.

We humans are basically an eternal soul wrapped in 5 bodies namely, the physical, the etheric double, the emotional (astral), the mental and ultimately the causal (spiritual). Out of these, it is only the spiritual body which remains to the end when the soul merges with the Divine light.

These bodies interpenetrate each other and form an aura around the physical body.

Each of these bodies has a different composition and an important significance.

To begin with, the Physical body or the Annamayakosha is gross in nature and consists of cellular tissues and organs. Adjacent to the physical body is the Etheric double or the Pranamayakosha which supplies energy to the entire body and organs. Various nadis or energy channels  run through it. Beyond the Etheric double is the Astral/Emotional body or the Manomayakosha consisting of the conscious mind and memory and is involved in the emotional aspects of life and desires. Following the Emotional body is the Mental/Intellectual body or the Vijnamayakosha, the higher intellect or the super conscious mind. It reflects our thought processes, understanding, knowledge and beliefs. And finally comes the Causal body or the Anandmayakosha, the body of cosmic consciousness. Feelings of divine love and bliss are centered here. It is the source of life consciousness for the current personality i.e. the knowledge of our true existence. The Akashic   records are stored here, i.e. , our past life experiences and knowledge.

A balance between these bodies is a must, as any mal-alignment of these bodies with one another  will lead to various physical, emotional and mental disorders.

Healing Therapy

Your body is the only vehicle you can ride during the journey called LIFE. Taking good care not only of the physical but also the emotional, mental as well as the spiritual bodies ensures a longer, happier and healthier ride.
What is healing?

Healing is a form of therapy where in the life force energy is channelized to a part or whole of the body of an individual through the healer’s palms. Healing therapy is independent of the various belief systems, faiths, age, gender, caste or creed. The healer is a vessel for channelizing the healing energy where it is most needed.

 What is Life Force Energy?
The Universal Life Force Energy circulates in the body of every living being and it can be harnessed for one’s well-being. This energy is readily available from the Sun, Air and Earth (ground) and is used by the healer to treat physical, emotional, mental as well as spiritual imbalances. This invisible energy form is referred to as Chi, Ki, Prana, Ruah or Life of Breath. When the body’s life force diminishes, it leads to pain, organ dysfunction and an overall deterioration of health.

What is an Aura ?

Aura - Before and after Healing- Kirlian Photography

The Aura is an invisible energy field surrounding the physical body. This invisible energy field has been extensively studied using Kirlian photography. The aura consists of inner and outer counterparts. The inner aura interpenetrates the physical body extending up to 2 - 4 inches from the skin surface. The outer aura can extend beyond 1 meter from the physical body. The outer aura is multicolored depending on our physical, emotional and mental state which indicates that energy and color have great implications in our day to day life. Health rays and energy centers (chakras) are housed in the aura.

What are Health Rays?
Health rays protrude from the physical body and form the health aura around it. In the presence of an illness, the health rays droop and get partially tangled. Hence, the capacity to eliminate the toxins/waste/germs reduces. In the presence of such obstacles, energy is unable to flow freely in and out leading to loss or accumulation of energy in and around the affected part. Healing therapy restores its function. Also, discontinuity of the outer aura causes leakage of energy during illness.
Negative emotions and traumatic experiences are negative thought forms and emotions lodged onto the aura and energy centers leading to various disturbances. Thus, cleansing and maintaining the integrity of the Aura forms an important factor for leading a healthy life.

What are Chakras?
Within every living being there is a network of nerves and sensory organs that interpret the changes in the outside physical world. Alongside this system, within the aura, resides a subtle system of channels - nadis and a series of whirling colored energy centers - chakras (major, minor and mini chakras) which look after the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual body.
Each chakra controls different parts of the energy body and the corresponding physical organs. The chakras interpenetrate and extend beyond the visible physical body. Chakras act as energy power stations which enable the body to absorb and process energy from the surrounding. They help absorb, digest, and distribute energy to the different parts of the body.
In the ideal state, all chakras are in balance. However, what we think and  feel may lead to an imbalance between the chakras which is harmful. During healing session, energy within the chakras is balanced which facilitates proper functioning of the physical body.

Treatment
Thus Dis-ease which means “absence of ease” first appears as energetic disruptions in the energy body (aura and/or chakras) followed by manifestations in the physical body. In other words, the health of the body is reflected in the health of the aura.
Since the physical body and the aura are inter connected healing takes place either ways meaning that when the physical body is treated, the aura responds and becomes healthy and vice - versa.
During treatment, the therapist balances and disrupts the blocked areas. Through the palms, which act as energy conductor, healing energy flows out via the healer’s body to the area needed.
During treatment, the aura absorbs the energy and distributes it to the physical body. Dis-ease energy or energy blocks from the affected energy centers / diseased organs are thus cleansed and then energized. The Life Force Energy splits up into different color energies which are projected to the affected part to balance the energy and hasten the healing process.
The effects are multifaceted-correction of energy imbalances and blockages, increasing awareness, relieving pent up emotions, tension, stress, grief, blood pressure, etc. In short, there is removal of used-up or diseased energy and toxins from the physical, emotional and mental bodies and replacement with fresh Ki.  Since the human body has the capability of self renewal, when healing energies are channelized to an affected part, the body’s natural state of healthy existence is restored.
NOTE:  This method does not replace medical treatment  but rather complements and enhances it.
Duration of healing depends on the mental and physical condition of the patient.
The healer is not responsible if no healing takes place.
