Adieu 2020

 2020 came in with a bang

Welcomed with fun and frolic 

Hopes rising

Smiles flashing 

But Alas!

Shock and death 

High temperature 

Cough and cold

Breathlessness...

Brought a veil to its face.

Amidst chaos and tears

Anger and despair 

Anxiety and stress

Hunger and pain

Duality at it's best 

Embraced by one and all

Love lost in the abyss.

Staggering, learning to stand up

Gaining a foothold,

To walk again once more.

Adieu 2020 with a deep sigh

Heart full of love, hope, faith trust

Welcome 2021 

New beginnings once again...
